On May 9th, the NRC received a report of an explosion and fire at the Wild Turkey distillery in Lawrenceburg, KY. A seven-story warehouse was reduced to a pile of rubble and a very large amount of bourbon was released into the Kentucky River. The warehouse contained over 750,000 gallons of bourbon. The river was on fire and the water supply was contaminated cutting and was cut off to at least 20,000 people. EPA IV is FOSC. CASE CLOSED.
