ON FEBRUARY 12th, AN UNKNOWN TRUCK DUMPED BETWEEN 8,000 TO 10,000 GALLONS OF METAL PLATING WASTE WHICH CONTAINS HIGH LEVELS OF ALUMINUM, COPPER, BARIUM AND OTHER HARMFUL CHEMICALS. THE MATERIAL WAS DUMPED INTO HORSE CREEK WHICH FLOWS INTO LAKE WRIGHT PATMAN, A DRINKING WATER SUPPLY FOR ATLANTA AND TEXARKANA, TX. THE TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION IS CONDUCTING THE CLEAN UP AND IS ALSO INVESTIGATING AND TREATING THIS AS A CRIMINAL ACT. CASE CLOSED
