A multi-vehicle accident on Route 7 and Route 102 caused a delivery truck to overturn and spill 2800 gallons of #2 heating oil into the Norwalk River near Richfield, CT. Booms have been deployed and clean ups are underway. The waterway is not closed and the river currents are running extremely fast. Three people were injured due the accident and Route 7 has been closed. EPA Region 1 and Coast Guard Marine Safety Office Long Island Sound are enroute. CASE PENDS.
