On February 26, 2001, approximately 20,000 gallons of diesel fuel was spilled from a land based facility with approximately 15,000 gallons entering the Fox River in Waukesha, WI. The Marine Safety Office (MSO) in Milwaukee dispatched a response team to assess the situation. The incident was located in the EPA''s interior zone and the MSO response team updated EPA region 5 of the situation. EPA has taken over survey and oversight of the spill. Wisconsin DNR has hired Superior Services to cleanup spilled diesel from the water and facility. CASE CLOSED
