On April 4, 2000, The Goodrich Petroleum Corporation in South Pass, LA had a release of Crude Oil from a 4 inch flow line buried approximately 3 feet below the ground. The release occurred on the east bank of South Pass on the Lower Mississippi River. Clean up utilizing sorbent boom, sorbent pads, vacuum trucks, and skimmers resulted in the recovery of 300 barrels of oil by the completion date of April 18th. The FOSC for this case was MSO New Orleans. CASE CLOSED.
