On the 10th of February the National Response Center received a report from Eott Energy stating that between 500 and 1000 barrels of crude oil had spilled into a dry gully. The crude oil was released from a three inch below ground pipeline due to corrosion. It is unknown at this time where the dry gully leads. This incident occured in Barton County Kansas and the only specific location information given was Section:South East 8 / Range:12 West / Township:16 South. Due to the spill, the system was reported to have been shut down and vacuum trucks on scene. EPA Region VIII is the Federal On Scene Coordinator. CASE PENDS.
