Description:

At 8:00am local time an automobile crossed the median of state highway 27 and struck a tanker truck rupturing the back compartment. The driver of the automobile died as a result of the accident. As a result 2,300 gallons of diesel fuel was spilled into a roadside ditch. The fuel was reported to be contained within the ditch which was later vacuumed up. Both the truck and the passenger car were removed and the contaminated soil was being excavated by a contracted company. CASE CLOSED.
