Description: A nationwide alert was issued on a stolen tractor-trailer carrying fertilizer and pesticide. The truck was stolen on the night of the 16th from Rockland Corp., a trucking company in Parsippany, New Jersey. The tractor was recovered on October 18th but the trailer is still missing. The trailer contains seven 2.5 gallon containers of Phenoxy pesticide (UN3000), a highly toxic liquid that can be fatal if inhaled, swallowed, or absorbed through skin. The pesticide also causes severe burns to skin & eyes and releases toxic or corrosive gasses if burned. CASE CLOSED. |
