On May 12, the National Response Center received a report of a crude oil release due to internal corrosion on a 4 inch pipeline. The gathering pipeline failed in the county of Natrona, Wyoming, releasing 45 barrels of crude oil into Castle Creek. Booms were deployed and the spill was contained. The banks of the creek were also washed with hot water. EPA Region VII is the FOSC.
