On Friday, March 26, 1999 an oily water separator unit owned by Clean Care Facility released waste oil. The material went into the Lincoln ditch which leads to the Blair Waterway. The majority of material was reported to be on land and in the ditch. Two contractors were hired to clean up the material. Absorbent booms were strategically deployed at the mouth of the Lincoln ditch to prevent any material from entering the Blair waterway. Vacuum trucks were used to collect material. CASE CLOSED.
