On January 21,1999 50 barrels of crude oil was released on land at a Chevron facility. Investigations determined that only 50 barrels actually spilled despite higher estimates. All product was contained in spill levee. No product entered the Mississippi River. Chevron is pumping the oil back into storage tanks. CASE CLOSED.
