On Sunday, December 20, 1998, at 2143, the National Responce Center was notified of a trucking accident near Georgetown, LA. The driver of the truck was injured and taken to the hospital. The intersection of LA 472 and LA 500 was closed. The material was released into the Catahoula National Reserves. The Department of Environmental Quality, along with local fire departments, and local and state police departments are on scene aiding in clean-up. CASE PENDS.
