At 0244 15 December, 1998 the Barge: CAMIC CENAC ran aground at position 27deg 41'54"N / 82deg 34'33"W. The Barge is single bottomed with double sides. The Barge contains a cargo of 23,000 GAL of Lube Oil. No material has been released at this time. The probability of any material being released is considered low. The Barge's Insurance Company has been notified and is en route. CASE PENDS.
