SITUATION: On November 18, 1998 at the Nashville Avenue Wharf a tanker truck was fueling the motor vessel Alkimos when a crane fell and ruptured the tank. The truck was carrying 2642 gallons of 50 weight cylinder oil. The material was released into the Mississippi River at Mile Marker 108. The local fire department and MSO New Orleans personnel will be on scene to monitor clean up. CASE PENDS.
