SITUATION: This updates the minor spill, potential major which occurred when the M/V Belle of Louisville sank at its moorings in Louisville, KY on Sunday, August 24, 1997. No further potential for pollution from the casualty exists. The vessel has been refloated and is being prepared for transit to Jeffboat Shipyard for repairs. CASE CLOSED.
