SITUATION: This updates the medium spill, which occurred on Wednesday, August 06, 1997 when a valve possibly failed or was left open during pressure testing of the fuel oil line, at the Tosco Refinery. At the time of notification the amount discharged was 15 barrels. Marine Safety Office continues to monitor response efforts by Tosco Refining Co. CASE CLOSED.
