On April 30, 2001 at 0945 12,600 gallons of crude oil released from a ten inch pipeline owned by Equilon Pipeline due to external corrosion. The material did not impact any navigable waterways, only some standing water and the land. The release occured in a rural area and no community impact reported. The release has been secured and clean up was underway at the time of call. EPA VII is en route. CASE PENDS.
