Bulk samples were taken at six locations throughout the plant on July 7, 1999, and submitted to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for analysis for asbestos. Bulk samples are analyzed to provide an estimate of the composition of the material submitted. The results should be considered semi-quantitative only. OSHA detected amosite asbestos in three of the bulk samples.
