ACCIDENT DESCRIPTION:
Three workers were doing a final clean-up and drying job on
the 18.29 metre
deep drop structure. One worker had taken a propane tank with
a tiger-torch
attached down into the structure to assist in the drying process.
The three
workers stopped for lunch at about 11:45 and returned about
12:30. The same
worker proceeded down the drop structure and an explosion took
place shortly
after. Two workers were injured and one was killed.
