Description:

On August 27, 2002 at approximately 1715 the National Response Center received a report from the U.S. Forest Service concerning a 4000 gallon diesel fuel spill. The discharge occurred when a tank truck was involved in an accident. State highway 178 was closed for several hours in both directions. A local HAZMAT team was on scene conducting clean up operations. There were no injuries reported. CASE CLOSED.
