| Description: At 11:30 a.m. E.S.T., on April 09, 2002, as a result of an accident, a tanker truck released 2000 gallons of #2 diesel fuel onto the road and into Crum Creek. The incident occurred on the Old State Road under the Route 1 bypass in Upper Providence Township, Pennsylvania. There were no road closures or restrictions reported. There were no injuries or evacuations as a result of the incident. Lewis Environmental has been contacted to initiate clean-up. US EPA III is the Federal On Scene Coordinator. CASE CLOSED. |
