Description:

At 2:15 p.m. P.S.T., on January 31, 2002, a storage tank owned by Wha Chang Co. leaked 15,000 gallons of 24% Sodium Bisulfite into a waste water treatment pond. The cause of the leak is unknown. There were no injuries or evacuations as a result of the incident. EPA X is the Federal On Scene Coordinator. CASE CLOSED.
