| Description: On December 19, 2002, at 12:23 pm, a discharge from a storage tank was discovered. The storage tank was underground, and had floated due to excessive ground water, causing the connecting lines to rupture. The material is known to have impacted a fuel pit, and it is unknown whether or not water was impacted. The Federal On Scene Coordinator is EPA VI. Contractors are en route. Other responders are on site with vac trucks cleaning up the spill. CASE CLOSED. |
