Description:

At 11:30 am C.S.T., on January 31, 2002, deterioration in an underground pipeline caused the release of 500 barrels of crude oil into Dry Rock Creek. The creek was dry at the time and the material has been contained in the creek. A contractor has been hired to handle the cleanup. The were no injuries or evacuations as a result of the incident. EPA VI is the Federal On Scene Coordinator. CASE CLOSED.
