Description:

At 6:30 p.m. CST., on January 21, 2002, due to corrosion on an underground pipeline, 400 barrels of crude oil has been released onto the ground in an open field. The soil where the release took place is being excavated and taken to proper disposal site. There were no injuries or evacuations as a result of the release. EPA VI is the Federal On Scene Coordinator. CASE CLOSED.
