Description:

At 11:15 a.m. CST, on January 10, 2002, a leak was found on an underground pipeline which has released 40 barrels of crude oil onto the ground. The release took place near county road 255 in Colorado county, Texas. Cleanup crews on scene are attempting to isolate the pipeline and are in the process of damning a nearby ditch. They will also use vacuum trucks to pick up the released material. There was no injuries or evacuations as a result of the release. EPA VI is the Federal On Scene Coordinator. CASE CLOSED.
