| Description: At 1100 local time, on December 3, 2002, a pipeline was ruptured during maintenance activity by a third party. The material was released from the pipeline at the Eastbound service road of LBJ/I-635 (the Dallas beltway) West of Schroeder Road, which is near the I-75/I-635 interchange, on the north side of Dallas. No fires, injuries, fatalities, evacuations or road closures were reported. The responsible party has applied booms and absorbent materials. The material is contained, and the soil is being excavated. The release has been secured. CASE PENDS. |
