Description:

At 2:00am this morning, local time, diesel fuel was discovered in a river in the city of Caguas, PR. The fuel had spilled from a generator tank due to reported equipment failure. The type of failure is unknown. 2,000 gallons of diesel spilled from the tank and of that amount 1,800 gallons entered a river. The name of the river is not known. The release has been secured, booms have been deployed and a clean up crew is on site. CASE CLOSED.
