Description:

On October 13, 2002 at 6:34 a.m., the National Response Center received a report regarding an explosion at the First Chemical facility in Pascagoula, Mississippi. The explosion released an unknown amount of material in the atmosphere including mononitrotoluene. Three people were hospitalized and the cause of the explosion remains under investigation. CASE PENDS
