Description:

On July 16, 2002 at 9:15 a.m., a 45 barrel spill of crude oil from a four inch steel pipeline was discovered. The spill is due to external corrosion. The material released to an unnamed creek which is tributary to Tiger Creek. Three coffer dams were constructed on the creek. Two vacuum trucks are on scene removing material and a third is expected to be on site with fresh water to flush the creek bed. The release was secured with a temporary clamp. The material is spread out in pockets along a 3/4 mile of the creek. CASE PENDS.
