At approximately 6:15 am this morning a tank car derailed while it was being coupled at the Union Pacific Railyard in Shreveport, La. It has been reported that the tank car released 194,000 lbs of 2-Ethyl Hexanol into the Red river. The river has been closed from mile marker 200 to 229. Estimated duration of closure for the river is not known. Interstate 20 was closed in both directions from 8:00 am to 11:15 am. CASE PENDS.
