These reports describe significant environmental incidents reported to and tracked by the National Response Center. They reflect both new incidents and follow-up information describing actions taken for previously reported events. The NRC publishes Incident Summary Reports periodically upon receipt of documentary information from the Federal On-Scene Coordinator.

The Unified Response continues with the involvement by Federal, State, Local Officials and representatives of the Olympic Pipeline Company. The Incident is stabilized; However there are still small fires, burned tires, and pockets of gasoline that present potential hazards. Emergency responders will continue with thorough assessment and monitoring teams. There have been three confirmed fatalities and eight minor injuries. The amount released has been changed and is now estimated at 6,600 barrels of gasoline. CASE CLOSED.
