ON MARCH 30, 1999 AT 1620 A THIRD PARTY CONTRACTOR DAMAGED A MARATHON PIPELINE. IT OCCURED AT SECTION 32, RANGE 7W, AND TOWNSHIP 15N, WHICH IS 2 MILES NE OF CATLIN, IN. THE PIPELINE RELEASED 100 BARRELS OF OIL ONTO SOIL AND A BRANCH OF LITTLE RACOON CREEK. VACUUM TRUCKS AND CLEAN UP EQUIPMENT ARE EN ROUTE. THE RELEASE HAS BEEN SECURED. CASE PENDS.
