On November 14th at 0600 the EOTT Energy Corp. reported a pipeline rupture 4 miles East of Midland, Texas. The rupture caused the release of 5000 barrels or more of crude oil. EOTT reports the pumping has been secured and two vaccum trucks are on scene recovering the product. EOTT does not know at this time why the pipeline ruptured. EOTT is not aware of any water source near by. EPA Region VI is the on scene coordinator. CASE CLOSED FOR INSUM BRIEFING
